What does Community Service Do?

Community Service is a sub-committee dedicated to serving. We as MSCC members work towards impacting the lives of those around us not only with those in LEAD but within our community and our lives. Weekly service such as Boys and Girls Club help our members to interact with the youth of our community in an after school program mentoring and helping build friendships with our youth. We also play bingo at Crestview Retirement Community where we give our members the chance to build relationships with the elders in our community.

Some of our bigger programs like Whoop For Troops are dedicated to giving back to our troops in Iraq through a series of item drive donations and personal cards that are designed by our local Elementary school kids. We are also planning a trip to Galveston to help in the hurricane relief efforts and rebuild what was so tragically lost. Community Service reaches out to the community and into peoples lives, we act with a servants heart and open mind and we are here to impact.
